Carly Stebbing promoted to Special Counsel and introducing Tass Angelopoulos

We hope that you had a refreshing and safe break, we look forward to working with you again this year. The purpose of this email is to share some news about our Firm.

Carly Stebbing (nee Fielding) joined National Workplace Lawyers in 2010 as an Associate Solicitor and was promoted to Senior Associate in May 2011. Over the past three and a half years, Carly has assisted in the growth of the Firm's practice and has proven herself to be a trusted advisor. Carly is routinely praised for her availability, efficiency and the practical manner in which she conducts the matters she has carriage for.

Carly is a skilled negotiator and advocate who has secured highly beneficial outcomes for clients both in litigious and non-litigious matters.

In recognition of Carly's skills and experience, National Workplace Lawyers is pleased to announce Carly's promotion to Special Counsel from 1 January 2014. You can review Carly's full profile at this link.

As you may be aware, Carly and her husband are expecting their first baby in March and Carly will be taking maternity leave from February to September this year. Tass Angelopoulos, Special Counsel joined the Firm in December 2013 and will take-over carriage of Carly's matters, along with Jason, whilst she is on maternity leave.

Tass has practiced in workplace law since 1990. Tass was initially an Associate to Deputy President Keogh of the then Australian Industrial Relations Commission (now Fair Work Commission). He remained with the Commission as a Rules/Elections Officer then as a Senior Research Officer. Tass then joined Clayton Utz in Melbourne, followed by Deacons (now Norton Rose Fulbright). Subsequently, Tass went to Canberra and worked as the National Manager for Corporate and Industrial Relations for the Australian Hotels Association. Tass then returned to Melbourne and worked as a Barrister for 12 years in the workplace law field. In 2012 Tass moved to Sydney and worked in the Employment Group of DLA Piper before joining National Workplace Lawyers.
